Girls on the Run
To inspire 3rd and 4th grade girls to be confident, healthy, and joyful using a fun experienced based curriculum either in person or via Zoom. It will creatively integrate running into the program. For 10 weeks we will teach the girls lesson about sharing their spirit, enthusiasm, and authenticity using lessons provided from the Girls on the Run program. We will be able to present these lessons to the girls during weekly Zoom meetings or in person. We hope to end the program with a 5K in Joliet where the girls will run with a running buddy. If we are not able to have the run in person, we will run it virtually. The girls will also participate in a community impact project. We will be participating in the spring this year.
